We bought this Garmin 1450 reconditioned and it's in result new. In fact, I actually have questioned if the reconditioned units are additional possible to be checked rigorously before being sold. The unit has gotten us where we have a tendency to wished to travel, even weaving us through an airport parking zone. I did notice some road name mistakes on rural dirt roads in Maine, thus it's wise to see destinations out previous time through Google map and Bing map. Bing uses a similar mapping company (NAVTEQ) as Garmin thus tends to repeat a similar mistakes. In our case, if I had entered within the correct road names, it might never have gotten us there. however I knew what road name to enter, thus it took us right where we have a tendency to wished to travel. we have a tendency to conjointly use the beanbag kind of base for the GPS, and it works sort of a charm.
